Frequent Questions
Q: How easy is it to install?
A: The unit can be installed in as little as an hour. There are only 5 wires to hook up - three to your factory tail light
and one each to your left and right blinkers. Opening your factory tail light is easy as long as you take your time
and read the directions before you begin.
Q: Can I remove my blinkers if I get this kit?
A: You should check the legality in your state of running without the factory blinkers, it may or may not be permissable to remove your stock blinker lights. Our kit does not have a flasher built in - it will flash at the same rate as your
factory blinker is flashing. Removing your turn lights will usually cause your turn signals to flash too quickly or not at
all. If you are unsure if your blinkers will operate incorrectly after removal, try unplugging them before you install the
kit - they will operate the same way after you install our kit. You can install load resistors or "load balancers" (as they
are commonly called) to solve this problem, or you can upgrade your flasher to an adjustable unit.
Q: What makes your unit better than others?
A: First, our kit does not cause you to lose any of your brake LED's. Second, LED brake lights have lenses that "amplify"
the light for maximum visibility. Any kit that adds lights but doesn't provide a new lense isn't going to perform as well as
the factory LED's do. Our product uses the factory-designed lense for maximum visibility. Third, our kit does not require
hacking up your factory LED board, so you can return to stock if you ever choose to. Fourth, our kit has multiple patterns
you can choose from for your brake, turn, and running lights.
